WHAT IS FESTIVAL OF TREES?
DESCRIPTION: A multi-day, multi-event celebration marking the beginning of the Christmas holiday season. Festival of Trees is presented under the auspices of the Cabochon Community Service Club.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: To create a community event offering residents an opportunity to participate in an annual effort to raise money for selected local charities.

About Us
WHAT IS THE CABOCHON COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB?
The Cabochon Community Service Club fosters and promotes charitable activities and other charitable organizations within Trilogy Sunstone community and is a 501c(3) nonprofit corporation exempt from Federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 170.

WHO BENEFITS FROM THE FESTIVAL OF TREES REVENUES?
In 2026 net revenues from all sources (admissions, sponsorships, donations) will be divided equally between:
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is a Boulder City based organization whose mission is transforming the lives of abused and at-risk children, young adults and families by empowering them to create new choices and new hope in a caring community. St. Jude’s Ranch for Children has no affiliation with St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
The Animal Foundation is a Las Vegas based organization whose vision is simple: “We want a future where every pet has a home, and every home is empowered to care for them.” Areas of work include: adoption, lost & found, low-cost vaccines, pet care assistance and pet resource center. Over 28,000 animals were assisted in 2025!
WHO RUNS FESTIVAL OF TREES?
Festival of Trees at Trilogy Sunstone was created through the collaboration of Trilogy Sunstone members. Randy & Cindy Green and Alec & Sheila Earle are co-chairs of the 2026 event. Core Committee members include Charlie & Deena Beswick, Paula Byassee & Steve Whitehouse, Ruth & Jerry Erzinger, Bill & Caren Hurley, Vickie Lawrence, Jeff & Deanna Maass, Bob & Kathy Stubbs, Paula Gardner, Chris & Debbie Randolph.

Grab your family, friends and neighbors for a festive morning of walking and jogging in support of our furry friends at The Animal Foundation and the kids at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. Out of respect for our neighborhood and to ensure the safety of all, this is a pet free event. Water/snack and jingle bells will be supplied. Jingle, jog/walk and give back! 100% of our registration proceeds will be split equally to support the incredible work of The Animal Foundation and St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. How It Works: Half of the total money collected goes directly to one lucky winner, and the other half goes straight towards St. Jude's Ranch for Children and The Animal Foundation. Ticket Prices: $10 for 1 ticket, or $100 for 12 tickets.Tickets will be sold at Cabochon Club events and all Festival of Tree events. Go to MTL, clubs, Festival of Trees, Discussions for a listing of events. Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets.
The Drawing: Sunday, November 29th at 12 noon. You do not need to be present to win. Winning ticket number will be posted.

Silent Auction of Trees
Trilogy Model Homes & Cabochon Club
Auction begins Monday, November 23 and ends at 12:00pm Sunday, November 29th. Trees are located in selected Trilogy model homes and Cabochon Club areas. The centerpiece of Festival of Trees is our silent auction of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, thoughtfully designed to bring holiday cheer into any home or business. The trees are fully assembled and ready to enjoy — simply place it in your space and let the holiday spirit unfold. The winning bidder will receive the entire display, including all ornaments, lights, topper, tree skirt, and any included gifts or embellishments. The bidding process will include in-person bidding as well as bidding on-line using the ZEFFY app. The highest bid at the time bidding closes will be declared the winning bid. All photos will be on display at the Cabochon Club until a winner is drawn on the final Festival of Trees event on November 29, 2026. The winner will win a gift basket.

Holiday Golf Cart Parade

Trilogy Community & Trilogy Model Park (Candy Cane Lane) | Cost: Free, but Donations Appreciated
Festival of Trees Golf Cart Parade, a chance to show off your holiday spirit by designing your own golf cart. Show off that holiday spirit by decking out your golf cart, but also decking out the passengers on your ride. All who participate will have an opportunity to win 1 of 3 Cooper’s Restaurant gift cards. Prize for Best Decorated Golf Cart will win a $50 gift card. Second place winner will receive a $40 gift card. Third place winner will receive a $30 gift card. Event organizers will rate the golf carts on creativity and design. Please arrive by 3:30pm for judging if you wish to participate in the best decorated cart challenge. All that enter are responsible for their own golf carts and passengers.
